Kimberly O’Donnell is an Associate Consultant with MyCollegeFit, providing personalized college planning services to students both locally in the greater Charlottesville area and remotely. A former admissions professional and long-time friend of MyCollegeFit founder Amy Jasper, Kim shares a commitment to honoring each student’s uniqueness and believes the college application process is as meaningful as the outcome.


Kim brings extensive experience in highly selective college admissions, having worked at Dickinson College, Dartmouth College, and Northwestern University. Her career evolved to include roles in student development and advancement, where she currently serves as Director of Development at Grymes Memorial School. Previously, she spent a year in the Development Office at Woodberry Forest School and directed Work & Community-Based Learning for Albemarle County Public Schools. Earlier in her career, Kim was the Associate Director of UVA’s Internship Placement Program.


A graduate of Dickinson College, Kim majored in English, French, and Education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Foundations, Policy, and Practice from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her professional affiliations have included the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the Cooperative Education & Internship Association (CEIA). Kim has also been actively involved in community initiatives such as Junior Achievement and the Boys & Girls Club.


Outside her professional life, Kim is an avid equestrian and a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, combining her passions for education and horsemanship to make a meaningful impact.
